OUR FAKE FEAR ABOUT REDUCED PHARMACY OPPORTUNITIES
Pharmacy is a link between medical science and chemistry and
it is charged with the discovery, production, control, disposal, safe and
effective use of drugs. The practice of pharmacy requires excellent knowledge
of drugs, their mechanism of action, side effects, interactions, mobility and
toxicity.
Pharmacists play a vital role in the healthcare system in
India. Pharmacists in India are broadly divided into three different categories
hospital pharmacists, pharmacists working in private sector as community
pharmacist and pharmacists working in the pharmaceutical industry.
When we think about pharmacy there are many question which
are arise on our mind related to our future. First of all we think that today’s
online pharmacy or E-pharmacy is in developing phase in future it reduced the requirements
of a pharmacist but that is our wrong thinking. In
E-Pharmacy also pharmacist is must required
no person is allowed to sell any medicine online without obtaining registration
from any state pharmacy council. Every prescription received on E-pharmacy
portal is verified by a registered pharmacist.
The pharmacy students who do not get employment after pass out,
the reason behind this is their poor training, lack of in depth knowledge of
fundamental concepts and practical skills not the lack of opportunities.
Remind that pharmacy is a multidisciplinary
subject composed of all aspects of drugs including its manufacturing,
synthesis, quality control and quality assurance, marketing, handling, safety
matters, patients care, invention, and public awareness for the rational
utilization of drugs, pharmaceutical industry with its tremendous growth
capacity has lots of job opportunities.
Value-added pharmacy services (
VAPS
) are additional services to the
traditional pharmacy activities, which do not include dispensing of medicinal
products and professional consultation.
In recent years, in numerous countries around the world,
growth in the volume of the pharmacy services is reported.
Today’s pharmaceutical biotechnology is the developing wing
of pharmacy. The combination of pharmaceutical science
and biotechnology have a power to change the
every hypothesis of the world.
